Cooking Class Tortelloni, Four-Course Organic Farm Lunch, and Walk at the Umbrian Countryside
Join us for a day on an authentic Umbrian family run farm, with over 80 years of experience in producing traditional Umbrian foods such as organic Trasimeno beans, olives and wine.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Together with Patrizia, our chef, we will prepare tortelloni (pasta) with simple, fresh organic ingredients from km0. At the long table we'll enjoy a four-course lunch (partly prepared by Patrizia, partly by us), followed by a panoramic walk in the Umbrian countryside.
OUR DAY

Arrival at the farm in Vaiano, a hamlet of Castiglione del Lago. (transport not included). Welcome with coffee.
10.45-13.00 (approx.)
Together we'll prepare tortelloni with stone-ground organic flour made from Umbrian organic cereals.
13.00-14.00 (approx.)
Four-course lunch with wine at the long table. Partly prepared by us, partly by chef Patrizia.
​14.00 (approx.)
We will enjoy the countryside and take a beautiful (not difficult) walk around the farm, along the fields and the animals.
15.00 (approx.)
We'll return from our walk, end of the programme. You can continue walking at the property on your own, or visit the farm shop with organic Trasimeno beans and other delicacies.

LEVEL
Level of the cooking class is easy, everyone welcome. Please wear comfortable shoes for the walk.

Chef Patrizia speaks Italian, Ester Andrina (owner of Porta Perugia) will be present to do the translation into English / Dutch.
This event is wheelchair accessible.
